Kidney stone of a schoolmate
In 2019, a high school alumnus’ schoolmate contacted me and said that he had a kidney stone attack. He complained of this problem for years and only recently had pain. Asked me whether it is better to see a Chinese medical doctor or a Western medical doctor.
Ten years ago, he took Chinese medicine prescribed by an old Chinese medical doctor at the Chi Fu Hospital for a few months with little change. Later, the Western doctor who conducted the physical examination said that the stones were not large enough to require medication, while the kidney cysts could not be eliminated by taking any medicine.
I was studying TCM that time and had already cured several cases of kidney stones, including my mother-in-law, so I felt a bit lost and said with conviction that you should take the 14 doses I prescribed and then go for ultrasound, and guaranteed the stones would be discharged from the body.
I have not failed before, but this time I was quickly smacked in the face, after taking the medicine, nothing changed in the patient! Schoolmate reassured me, at least no more pain, forget about it first ……
This case has been hanging in my heart, I constantly reflect on where I did not do well.

This again stung the nerve of my once failed kidney stone treatment, I reflected on it and said: I can accept the challenge! But I have to diagnose in person, I dare not guarantee 100% success, at least 60% sure.
It was really a coincidence that at the end of 2021,the schoolmate who failed to expel the stone last time reached me again and said the stone was bigger than ever before.
To be on the safe side I said I would see him in person, and when I pressed the point of kidney stone with my hand, I was surprised that there was not much reaction! He felt only a little bit sore and I finally understood the reason why I missed the last time.
After taking the pulse, the ulnar pulse was sunken and thin, the left Cun pulse was weak, his back was cold, and the Ju Que point was painful to press. I prescribed two prescriptions in rotation.
After 2weeks,I received feedback from schoolmate that the kidney stones were gone. He used seven doses of each of the two prescriptions altogether. The cost is cheaper than laser lithotripsy, and surprisingly, the stone removal is senseless and painless!
Western medical examination can only be a reference, I suggest to have another face-to-face consultation, after which I will decide whether to continue to take the medicine for a period of time.
